Do I need to hire a removal company for my move?

No, it is not strictly necessary. If you have enough helpers and the scope of the move allows it, you can also move yourself.

However, a professional removal company often works faster and more safely. A DIY move also comes with costs of its own:

  • hiring vehicles and equipment
  • possibly paying your helpers

So it is worth working out beforehand whether you really save money in the end.
